Kitchen Designer & Client Consultant

Design-Driven Showroom | High Lead Volume | Strong Earning Potential

Location: Kitchener
Position: Full-Time, In-Person
Compensation: $21–$25/hour + performance-based commission
On-Target Earnings: $60,000–$75,000+

About the Opportunity

We are a design-focused, high-volume kitchen showroom offering a refined client experience backed by a consistent flow of qualified leads.

Our environment is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and client-driven—where strong designers can turn efficient, well-executed designs into meaningful income.

This is not a passive or slow design role.
It is best suited for someone who works efficiently, manages multiple projects at once, and follows through with clients consistently.

The Role

This position blends design expertise with client consultation and sales, giving you ownership of each project from initial concept through to final order.

You will work with:

Showroom walk-ins
Inbound leads
Scheduled consultations

Your success will come from your ability to balance speed, accuracy, and strong client communication.

Key Responsibilities

Create tailored kitchen designs using 2020 Design (required)
Interpret and develop accurate floorplans
Consult with clients in the showroom and in-home when required
Produce clear, accurate quotes in a timely manner
Guide clients through selections, layouts, and final decisions
Maintain consistent, professional follow-up
Manage multiple active projects simultaneously
Contribute to a polished and organized showroom environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in kitchen design
Strong proficiency in 2020 Design or similar CAD software
Solid understanding of layouts, measurements, and spatial planning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Valid driver’s license for occasional site visits

Struggle with follow-up or managing multiple clients
Prioritize perfection over momentum and progress
