And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionAs a Team Lead, Quality, you'll play a critical role in ensuring world‑class quality across our manufacturing operations while developing and leading a high‑performing team. You'll partner closely with production, engineering, and supply chain to prevent defects, resolve customer issues, and drive continuous improvement—all while shaping a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to influence both day‑to‑day execution and long‑term quality strategy in a global manufacturing environment. You will report to the Quality Manager and work onsite in Cambridge, ON. <h3>Your Responsibilities:</h3> <ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of hourly employees to deliver quality, productivity, and process improvement objectives.</li><li>Own quality performance within assigned product lines, including customer issue resolution, internal corrective actions, and error‑proofing initiatives.</li><li>Partner with production to drive tactical and strategic problem solving using tools such as QPS, 8D, Kaizen, DOE, and root‑cause analysis.</li><li>Strengthen supplier quality through MRB participation and collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive corrective actions.</li><li>Implement, maintain, and improve training and quality control plans to ensure early detection and containment of defects.</li><li>Support new product introductions by leading quality planning activities (FMEAs, internal PPAPs) through the CPD process.</li><li>Contribute to Cambridge's role as a Global Center of Excellence by supporting standardization, best‑practice sharing, and technology transfer.</li><li>Enhance and sustain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) through audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement and productivity initiatives aligned with the Rockwell Production System (RPS).</li><li>Foster an inclusive, transparent culture built on trust, open dialogue, and continuous feedback.</li></ul> <h3>The Essentials - You Will Have:</h3> <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience</li><li>Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.</li></ul> <h3>The Preferred - You Might Also Have:</h3> <ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 2 years management experience.</li><li>Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Applied Sciences, or other relevant fields).</li><li>5+ years of Quality engineering experience in manufacturing environments, with applied knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.</li><li>PEO P.Eng. license, and designations in American Society for Quality (ASQ) and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).</li><li>Working experience in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Electrical/Electronic systems manufacturing, working in environments with formal quality management (ISO9001) & production systems.</li><li>Experience communicating clear, concise technical summaries to all levels of the organization.</li><li>Experience effectively navigating ambiguity, managing change, and influencing stakeholders through transitions.</li><li>Can implement solutions and achieve the defined company and departmental objectives and goals with limited supervision.</li><li>Proficient in the use of computer software programs including MS Office.
