We are hiring for a General Maintenance Worker.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to up hold B-Hpositality’s standards of The Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre, contributing to a positive lasting experience for guests and staff.

Essential Job Functions:

Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry and basic plumbing.
Inspect, clean and maintain all equipment, including but limited to HVAC systems, kitchen appliances and laundry facilities.
Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, coordinating with external vendors for repairs when necessary.
Respond to maintenance requests and address issues related to plumbing, electrical systems and general facility repairs.
Execute minor repairs to furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and take corrective action to prevent hazards.
Maintain the exterior of the property, including landscaping, parking areas, and walkways.
Perform snow removal, lawn care and other outdoor maintenance tasks.
Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
Order necessary supplies and coordinate deliveries as needed.
Coordinate and communicate with other departments such as housekeeping and front desk to address maintenance issues.
Maintain and adhere to a strict preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order.
Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on call 24/7 in the event of an emergency.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.53 per hour
