Job Overview

Join our vibrant culinary team as a Pizza Maker at Beast, located at Weber St. E and Scott St., where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you’ll be at the heart of creating delicious, visually appealing pizzas that delight our customers. Your expertise in food preparation, cooking, and food safety will ensure every pie meets our high standards. This position offers a dynamic environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a love for the food industry come together to create memorable dining experiences. Whether you're experienced in restaurant kitchens or eager to develop your skills in food service, this opportunity is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make an impact.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care
Cook pizzas using ovens and other kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Assist with meal preparation and support other kitchen staff during busy periods
Serve customers directly at the counter or assist in food service areas when needed
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs

Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward customer service and colleagues
Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and pizza making
