Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling and storage complies with safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Follow proper food safety procedures at all times to prevent contamination
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as needed
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction when interacting with front-of-house staff or guests
Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail
