Full job description

Location: Niagara Falls / Niagara Region
Position: Part-Time | In-Person & Field-Based
Schedule: Flexible, based on shoots, events and business requirements

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and creative individual to support the content, media and marketing operations of our businesses.

This is primarily a content production and coordination role, but the successful candidate will also assist with marketing activities, events, properties, office content and day-to-day brand requirements.

Video editing is not the primary responsibility. We have editors; your responsibility is to make sure they consistently receive high-quality, organized content to work with.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production

Shoot professional photos and videos for multiple company brands
Capture CEO/personal-brand content when required
Attend properties, landscaping/cleaning projects, office activities, meetings and events
Shoot reels, property walkthroughs, before/after transformations, testimonials and behind-the-scenes content
Conduct basic interviews with team members, clients or contractors
Capture enough variations, angles and footage for editors to create multiple pieces of content
Assist with planning shoot ideas and content concepts

Content Management

Upload raw footage to company Google Drive
Create and maintain organized folders for each brand/property/project
Properly label footage by date, location and content type
Maintain backups of important footage
Maintain the master content tracking sheet
Assign content to editors
Provide editors with basic instructions/references
Track Shoot → Upload → Assigned → Editing → Completed → Posted
Follow up with editors on pending content

Marketing Support

Coordinate with the marketing and social-media team
Help maintain a regular flow of fresh content
Identify opportunities for content while visiting properties/projects
Assist with promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing
Collect client testimonials and project footage
Help create content around new properties, completed projects and company milestones
Assist with social-media stories and quick real-time content when required

Field & Event Support

Accompany management/team members to selected site visits
Attend company events, networking events and launches when content coverage is required
Capture setup, event, guest and behind-the-scenes footage
Coordinate with field employees to capture completed work
Travel locally throughout Niagara Region when required

Equipment & Administration

Maintain company cameras, phones, microphones, tripods, lights and related equipment
Ensure batteries are charged and equipment is ready before shoots
Maintain an equipment inventory
Keep content calendars, shoot schedules and tracking sheets updated
Coordinate shoot timing with management and operations
Assist with other reasonable media, marketing and office-related duties when required

Ideal Candidate

We need someone who is creative, reliable, organized and comfortable around people. They should be able to take initiative rather than waiting for instructions for every individual shot.

Experience with photography/videography is preferred, but training can be provided to the right candidate.

A G/G2 licence and reliable transportation would be a strong asset because the position involves travelling between properties and job sites.

Pay: $17.95-$20.95 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
