Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a full time or part time cook. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a high paced environment, preparing meals and buffet options, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and customer service, with a strong background in the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards as well as customer modifications
Handle food safely, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout all stages of food preparation and service
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prepping and storage areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
Manage food inventory, restocking supplies as needed
Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Set-up and take down of buffet meals for parties

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments required
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
Skills in serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings & holidays
Food industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
