About the role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Fulfillment Associate to join our warehouse and fulfillment team.
In this role, you will help ensure healthcare products and equipment are accurately received, organized, picked, packed, assembled, and shipped to customers. You will also support inventory management, equipment preparation, and the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, helping maintain an efficient, organized, and safe work environment.
This is a hands-on, physically active position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and values teamwork. Your work plays an important role in ensuring customers receive the right products on time, supporting their health, comfort, and independence.
What You’ll Do
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, verify, pack, label, and stage customer orders for shipment or delivery.
- Perform the pick-pack-ship process accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare inventory for replenishment and cross-location transfers.
- Ensure all outgoing orders are complete, accurate, and on time.
Inventory Control
- Receive, inspect, organize, and put away incoming inventory.
- Conduct physical and system-based inventory counts.
- Rotate, replenish, and organize warehouse and retail inventory.
- Identify and process damaged, expired, or defective products.
Equipment Preparation & Assembly
- Assemble healthcare equipment using basic hand and power tools.
- Clean, sanitize, disinfect, and prepare rental or trial equipment for reuse.
- Assist with light equipment repairs or disassembly (training provided).
Warehouse Operations & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Keep aisles, exits, storage areas, and workstations clear and hazard-free.
- Clean and disinfect warehouse equipment, tools, carts, and high-touch surfaces.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, infection prevention, and PPE requirements.
Technology & Systems
- Learn and use Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and handheld scanners.
- Accurately track inventory movement, equipment, and order status.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Fulfillment Supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Support cross-department and cross-location operations as needed.
- Assist customers encountered in warehouse or retail areas with professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and safety-focused team culture.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, crouch, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs independently, and heavier items with assistance or mechanical lifting aids.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently.
- Clean and disinfect rental healthcare equipment that may have been exposed to bodily fluids (e.g., urine or feces) while following infection prevention protocols and using appropriate PPE.
Skills & abilities
You are:
- Adaptable, dependable, and detail-oriented
You are also physically able to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Push or pull up to 100 lbs using carts or equipment
- Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently
- A strong communicator who follows instructions well
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Willing to learn new systems and technology
- Organized and focused on accuracy
- A cooperative and safety-minded team player
Education & experience
- High school diploma strongly preferred
- Warehouse, logistics, retail, or supply chain experience is an asset
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an asset
- Basic tool usage (hand and power tools) is an asset
- Forklift certification (sit-down and stand-up) is an asset
