Home Child Care Provider – Private Household

Location: Brossard, QC

A private family in Brossard is seeking a reliable and experienced Home Child Care Provider to care for an infant in a safe and nurturing home environment. This is a live-in position.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and care for an infant in the employer's private residence
Prepare age-appropriate meals, snacks, and bottle feeding
Bathe, dress, and change diapers; maintain infant hygiene routines
Organize developmentally appropriate activities including play, reading, and sensory stimulation
Monitor infant's health, safety, and well-being at all times
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the home
Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare (laundry, tidying play areas, sterilizing bottles)

Employment Details:

Permanent, full-time position
40 hours per week
Live-in position; private furnished room provided at no cost
Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional flexibility may be required)

Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience caring for infants or young children
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to communicate in English or French
Mandarin language ability is considered an asset
Responsible, patient, and attentive to infant needs

Compensation:

$26.00 per hour
Live-in accommodation provided (private room, no charge)
4% vacation pay
Standard statutory holidays as per Quebec employment standards (CNESST)

Une famille privée de Brossard recherche un(e) gardien(ne) d'enfants à domicile fiable et expérimenté(e) pour prendre soin d'un nourrisson dans un environnement familial sécuritaire et bienveillant. Il s'agit d'un poste avec hébergement.

Responsabilités :

Superviser et prendre soin d'un nourrisson au domicile de l'employeur
Préparer des repas, des collations et des biberons adaptés à l'âge de l'enfant
Donner le bain, habiller et changer les couches ; maintenir les routines d'hygiène du nourrisson
Organiser des activités adaptées au développement de l'enfant, y compris le jeu, la lecture et la stimulation sensorielle
Surveiller en tout temps la santé, la sécurité et le bien-être du nourrisson
Maintenir un environnement propre, sécuritaire et sain dans la maison
Effectuer des tâches ménagères légères liées à la garde d'enfants (lessive, rangement des aires de jeu, stérilisation des biberons)

Détails de l'emploi :

Poste permanent à temps plein
40 heures par semaine
Poste avec hébergement ; chambre privée meublée fournie sans frais
Horaire : du lundi au vendredi (une flexibilité occasionnelle peut être requise)

Exigences :
