Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to join our modern medical practice in a prime Kelowna location, situated right behind Kelowna General Hospital and on the waterfront. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to become part of a dynamic healthcare environment committed to excellence in patient care. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with fellow physicians and a strong team of allied health professionals, fostering a supportive and integrated approach to patient care.

Position Overview:

As a valued member of our team, you will provide comprehensive medical services, collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, and engage in continuous professional development. Our practice offers a supportive atmosphere where your expertise is respected, and your contributions are integral to our mission of delivering outstanding healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred medical care to a diverse and growing community.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing teams, and allied health professionals to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
Maintain a commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning to remain current with evolving medical knowledge and practice standards.
Help shape and strengthen clinical processes by contributing to quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of evidence-based best practices.

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited and recognized institution.
Eligible for and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and ongoing quality improvement.
