Position: Heavy Equipment Technician/ Agricultural Technician (2nd year+ Apprentice or Journeyperson)

Wage: $25.00-$49.00 depending on experience

THE COMPANY:

THE POSITION:

You are as handy with a laptop as you are with a wrench!!

- A 2nd+ year apprentice or JOURNEYMAN Service Technician;

- Who likes working with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulics; and

- You are passionate about repairing and diagnosing equipment!

- Previous John Deere dealership experience is an asset but not a requirement.

- Work on a variety of agricultural equipment tractors, combines and sprayers.

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is running properly and safely.

- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and provide accurate repair solutions and quotes.

- Maintain detailed records or services performed, parts used and time spent on each job.

- Work closely with service/ parts department and management to ensure smooth operations

SKILLS & QUALIFACTIONS

· Agricultural Technician Apprenticeship (in progress)

· Proficient in technology and software.

· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Mechanical aptitude.

· Problem solving skills.

· Previous experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of agricultural or heavy equipment.

· Strong interest in agriculture, turf equipment and outdoor power products.

· Self motivated and goal orientated with a positive attitude.

· Valid drivers license with a clean abstract.
