Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our stores. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring store profitability, and maintaining a positive environment for customers.

Duties

Supervise and lead store staffs to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
Manage daily operations of stores, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
Recruit, interview, and train new employees while fostering positive team atmospheres.
Develop and implement effective administrative processes to streamline operations.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favourable terms for products and services.
Maintain accurate financial records, including sales reports and inventory counts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.

Skills

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proven experience in store management or similar roles with a focus on operations.
Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with vendors and suppliers.
Proficient in administrative tasks including record keeping and reporting.
Ability to conduct interviews and assess candidates effectively during the recruitment process.
Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors.
Supervisory skills to motivate staff and foster teamwork within the store environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions, inventory counts, and financial reporting.
