Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, restaurant operations, and guest services, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in food safety, cashiering, and hospitality within a dynamic food industry setting.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently through cash handling and cashiering.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, demonstrating excellent guest services skills.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while upholding high service standards.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety practices during food handling and preparation.
Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times to meet health department standards.

Skills

Experience with POS systems, for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests.
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, including food preparation and serving roles.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with hospitality principles, guest services, and upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food service industry who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
