Full job description

Vertex is currently accepting applications for experienced full-time Class 1 Fluids Operator. We have a great team and the ability to generate above average industry revenue.

Position Title: Class 1 Fluids Operator

Position location: Weyburn SK

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract
2 years’ experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired
Capable to operate Tri - Axle units and Super B trucks
A FAST card would be an asset

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner
Participate in safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings, FLRA’s, hazard assessment development, pre-trips/post-trips
Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
Ensure all safety certificate training are up to date
Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, waste manifests etc.
Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods
Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites
Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
