Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk for a manufacturing organization inn Ajax, ON. We're looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing invoices, vendor accounts, and month-end activities.
**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $ 27.00/hour
Location: Ajax, ON
Shift: M-T 730AM-4PM F- 730AM-1230PM
Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 18-month contract

Responsibilities:

Review and process employee expense reports through Concur
Enter invoices and expenses into SAP
Resolve invoice discrepancies and support internal users with SAP and Power Apps inquiries
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments, banking updates, and account issues
Create debit and credit memos as required
Prepare company deposits and reconcile corporate credit card statements
Assist with month-end accruals, account reconciliations, and intercompany reporting
Ensure compliance with corporate deadlines and financial procedures
Provide general administrative support, including mail distribution and records management

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
Manufacturing industry experience is required
Strong understanding of Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and invoice processing
Experience with SAP required; Concur and Power Apps are strong assets
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and meet CGP (Controlled Goods Program) requirements
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
