Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Manager and lead the heart of our restaurant’s culinary operations! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily food preparation, ensure top-notch food safety standards, and manage a talented kitchen staff. Your leadership will drive exceptional customer experiences by maintaining high-quality food service, fostering teamwork, and upholding hospitality excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the culinary environment while ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering memorable dining moments.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
Manage kitchen staff by scheduling shifts, training team members on food handling, safety protocols, and proper cooking techniques.
Oversee food safety compliance by enforcing sanitation standards, monitoring temperature controls, and conducting regular cleanliness inspections.
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and timely order fulfillment using POS systems such as Micros POS.
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for ingredients and supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitability.
Lead hiring efforts by interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and fostering a positive team environment rooted in leadership and respect.
Handle cash transactions accurately during bar or restaurant service, including bartending or barista duties when needed.

Skills

Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Proven supervising experience with strong team management skills; capable of motivating staff and resolving conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in restaurant management software such as Micros POS or similar systems; familiarity with cash handling procedures.
Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming dining experiences.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in restaurant management roles including overseeing kitchen operations, serving customers, and managing hospitality standards is highly preferred.
