Full job description

We are seeking Full-Time Grounds Maintenance Labourers. Applicants should take pride in their work, be able to work well independently and as a team and work in an efficient manner. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of snow removal work.

Job Duties:

Perform grounds maintenance duties
Trim shrubs and pull weeds
Apply fertilizer
Safely operate grass cutting equipment – 21” Push mower, 48” Walk behind mower & 60”
Ride-on mower
Safely operate power tools such as backpack blower, line trimmer & hedge trimmer

Qualifications:

Physically fit with the ability to perform vigorous and repetitive tasks
Experience in softscaping is an asset
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
A valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory
Strong work ethic

Work Conditions:

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm, some Saturdays, weather dependant
April – November
Outdoors – candidate should be prepared to work in all weather conditions
