Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise service.
- Serve food and drinks with a friendly attitude, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments with POS systems.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in setting up banquet or catering events, ensuring all food safety and service standards are met for large groups or special occasions.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in a bar or nightclub environment is a plus.
- Strong skills in sales, upselling beverages or menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in busy settings like banquets or large events.
