Full job description

An exciting and immediate career opportunity is currently available at WFCU Credit Union for a:

Administration Assistant, Mortgages (Support)

Position Type: Vacant Position

Salary Range: $42,750 – 54,500

As an Administration Assistant, Mortgages (Support), you will have responsibility for providing excellent service through the execution of the administrative duties according to detailed procedures and with complete accuracy as a function of the Mortgages team.

In summary, the Administration Assistant, Mortgages (Support) will:

Prepare incoming mortgage files for processing.

Ensure all documentation required is included in mortgage files.

As required, work with third party providers to ensure mortgages are processed accurately and on time.

Finalize all closed mortgage files ensuring paperwork is complete and postings are accurate.

Process mortgage discharges, mortgage renewals, and mortgage extensions.

Prior to renewals, ensure property tax is up to date; follow up with lenders as necessary and prepare letters to be mailed to members who have mortgages for renewal.

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:

A diploma or degree in Business Administration is required.
A minimum of one year lending experience is required.
Self-motivated and strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent computer proficiency operating Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to work extended hours on a rotating basis as well as occasional Saturdays.
