Full job description

Skilled paeds nurses needed for overnight care 11pm-7am caring for 1 child in their Windsor home overnight so caregivers can rest.

See below for schedule details, please read entire posting. This position is a set temporary position to start Jul 20/26 and run until Dec 27/26 but this may be extended.

We are searching for nurses who are dedicated to providing the type of care the we would want for our own loved ones and by offering our competitive wages, a phone allowance along with a dedicated support team to back you in the field we have been able to do just that. Again this is an overnight paeds position 11pm-7am. We do not pay mileage as this is shift nursing, 1 home all night.

This casual can be done as every weekend or every other weekend, again both sat and sun.

RPN pay rate is $32/hr and RN pay rate is $38/hr

Casual staff receive a $15 monthly phone allowance but are not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:

Tracheostomy care/monitoring, oxygen monitoring, respiratory assessment, g-tube for feeding and medication administration. Various other nursing tasks as noted on the care plan.

Requirements:

Peads nursing care experience

Must have an RPN diploma, registered and in good standing with the CNO

TB test results from within 1 year

Police clearance from within 1 year

CPR certificate

\* Understand your role as a nurse and the Protection of Privacy Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, Consent, etc.
\* Must be able to work independently with reliability and trustworthiness
\* Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning and professional growth

Experience:

Pediatrics nursing: 1 year (required)
Paeds nursing care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

CPR Certification (required)
Drivers licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
CNO registration in good standing (required)
RPN diploma (required)
