Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Co-ordinator to oversee and implement safety protocols across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety awareness, and minimize workplace hazards. This role is essential in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and contractors on-site. Experience in construction and familiarity with construction management software are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies tailored to construction sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Coordinate safety training sessions for new and existing staff to ensure understanding of safety procedures.
Investigate accidents or incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports using construction management software.
Promote a culture of safety awareness through ongoing communication and engagement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry best practices, new regulations, and advancements in construction safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or a related field with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction environments.
Proficiency in construction management software for record keeping and reporting purposes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
