Baker

Full-Time & Part-Time

Join Us From the Beginning

L'Éclatant Cake Boutique & Cafe is opening soon, and we're looking for a talented Baker to join our opening team. You'll work alongside our Head Pastry Chef to produce premium handcrafted cakes and desserts in a collaborative, quality-focused kitchen. If you take pride in your craft and enjoy creating exceptional products, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Prepare and decorate handcrafted cakes while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
Produce specialty desserts and support daily kitchen production following established recipes and standards.
Support with daily baked goods and savoury menu preparation as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef and team to deliver exceptional products and support daily operations.

What We're Looking For

1+ year of cake decorating, pastry, or bakery experience.
Passion for creating high-quality cakes and desserts with consistency and attention to detail.
Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Pastry or culinary education and experience in a commercial bakery or cafe are considered assets.

Physical & Working Conditions

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs), and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
Comfortable working safely with commercial bakery equipment.
