Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following proper food safety and handling procedures
Serve food items promptly and professionally to guests
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area in compliance with food safety standards
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills
Engage with guests to ensure an enjoyable experience, providing excellent customer service
Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties as required
Follow all food safety regulations and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a bar or hospitality setting
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering tools
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Experience in serving alcohol responsibly is a plus, along with knowledge of the food industry standards
