WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Blend is responsible for conducting in home surveys, installations, and servicing of Acorn Stairlifts.

Field Sales Representative:

Perform in home assessments for potential clients as scheduled by appointment setters
Emphasize product features and benefits, overcome objections, and provide quotes
Negotiate within Pricing Guidelines to close sales
Complete sales documentation and process client credit card payments
Update notes in APLX from all on-site and follow-up calls
Network to self-generate leads
Be punctual and uphold Acorn Stairlifts’ standards of professionalism
Prepare and submit expense reports and participate in coaching on a monthly basis
Exceed departmental goals and targets
Other duties as assigned

Installer/Service Technician:

Install curved and straight stairlifts as per order specification
Communicate with clients about service and address any questions or concerns
Test newly installed or repaired stairlifts and give full usage demo to ensure safe operation
Assess on-site breakdowns and perform repairs as required
Complete necessary paperwork, upload information to customer file on AGS, and process customer payments required
Cut and prepare aluminum rails
Receive shipments and manage the use of inventory in storage unit and company vehicle
Observe company safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions
Maintain company vehicle, cell phone, and tablet in orderly presentable condition
Other duties as assigned

Ability to mount rails to various types of surfaces; wood, tile, marble, etc.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues with product
Proficient with hand tools and power tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary school diploma or relevant experience
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledge of Google Chrome, Outlook, Excel and Windows
1-3years related experience in a sales environment
Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
2+ years' in-home / residential installation experience working directly with customers (residential users)

JOB CONDITIONS:

This position is mobile and requires driving for extended periods of time
Potential for overnight travel, sleeping in hotels, and being away from home
Will be provided with company vehicle, gas card, phone, tablet, and necessary tools
Inventory will be managed out of a local storage unit rented by the company
Will require the ability to lift between 70 -120 lbs
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms
Clean driver’s abstract required
Clean criminal background check required
