Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a vital role in ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. If you have a passion for food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods with attention to quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Manage daily operations of the deli, including inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed.
Train and supervise deli staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
Develop and implement new menu items and specials to meet customer demand.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and friendly manner.
Monitor sales, reduce waste, and maximize profitability in the deli department.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a deli cook or supervisor, preferably in a grocery store or food service environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
