Assistant Controller / Accounting Supervisor

What You’ll Be Doing as the Assistant Controller

Lead month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis and internal reporting
Oversee Accounts Payable operations and support staff development
Analyze inventory, work-in-progress, margins and costs
Support budgeting, year-end, audits and credit administration
Recommend and implement process and system improvements
Partner with Sales, Purchasing and Inventory teams

About You as the Assistant Controller

Nearly or newly designated Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
High-volume Accounts Payable oversight experience
Experience supervising or developing accounting staff
Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems
Curious, analytical approach with a continuous-improvement mindset
Reliable transportation is required for this in-office, east-of-the-city location
