Job Overview

Seven Oaks School Division, situated in Winnipeg’s Northwest corner, is seeking a caring, knowledgeable, community and service-oriented individual to join the Division in the position of Assistant Director of Operations. The Division has an operating budget of $210 million and has 28 schools with a student population of approximately 12,500.

Under the direction of the Secretary-Treasurer and the Superintendents’ Team, provide support for the division’s administrative computer applications and the student record keeping system. The individual will: provide telephone, on-site and on-line support and training to all administrative and clerical staff on the student records system, including the boundary program; set up and maintain users; ensure the integrity of the student information system data; work closely with the Department of Education and computer consultants to ensure that the data transferred via the E.I.S. software is accurate; check and verify that the September 30 enrolment and demographic information is transmitted on time and accurately; manage the non-resident student system. The successful candidate will become a member of the Secretary-Treasurer’s leadership team and must possess strong interpersonal, critical thinking, computer and conceptual skills.

Applicants should possess a minimum Grade 12 education and have 1 year Computer Technician and/or Business Administration Course, Certified Computer Instructor or equivalent. An acceptable combination of education and related experience may also be considered.

Salary range $61,282.89 - $88,015.46 with a comprehensive benefits package.
