Job Summary

THE SEVEN OAKS SCHOOL DIVISION

invites applications for

School Administrative Assistant – Riverbend Community School

This is a full-time indefinite term position at Riverbend Community School, effective as mutually agreed.

Riverbend Community School is a Kindergarten to Grade 5 Ojibwe Dual Track school.

Under the general supervision of the School Administrator, performs student record, purchasing, accounting, secretarial and administrative duties. Assists staff, students, parents and visitors. Where there is more than one Administrative Assistant, works collaboratively to ensure tasks are completed and each has knowledge in aspects of the others job.

Experience using Microsoft Office 365 - Word, Excel, Publisher, updating websites and the in-house computer system (CIMS) – finance & student management systems, Admin and Employee Connect, along with a working knowledge of payroll reporting, are essential, or the successful applicant must be prepared to learn these programs as required. Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm is also required.

Salary is according to the C.U.P.E. Local 949 Collective Agreement, starting at $29.51 per hour.
