Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic restaurant environment where attention to food safety and quality are paramount. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation during service hours
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items
Follow sanitation procedures for equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe kitchen environment

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members
Experience with meal preparation and serving in a restaurant setting is advantageous
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all aspects of work
