Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and career-minded individual, to fill the position of i.t. administrator and to provide administrative/bookkeeping support through precise data entry and analysis. We are located at 1850 Main Professional Center, a two-story, multi-tenant professional building located in the heart of the West Kildonan neighborhood of Winnipeg. 1850 Main Street Professional Center is part of a community hub, filled with tons of great local businesses close to all amenities with a high walkability score. As a small firm, we offer a professional environment dedicated to the best interests of our clients . Responsibilities and Duties on Bookkeeping Support

Strong typing skills
Maintain ledgers, and carry out journal entries
Accounts payable and receivable
Credit card reconciliation
Cheque issuance, receipts and deposits
Liaise with external accountants on trust and general side

Technology & Systems Support:

Maintain and monitor the office server, desktop systems, and local network.

Programming & Workflow Automation:

Build or maintain internal tools and templates using programming or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or low-code platforms).
Assist with automation of client intake, task tracking, and document assembly.
Maintain and improve integrations between systems (e.g., document management and accounting).

Government Portals & Filing:

Navigate and manage online services such as:
Companies Office (business registrations, annual returns)
Land Titles Online (title searches, registrations)
Download, organize, and track submission records.
Provide user support for email, printer, and desktop troubleshooting (e.g., Outlook syncing, software access).
Assist with document automation tools and form generation scripts/templates.
Support basic IT tasks and coordinate with external vendors for advanced issues

Qualifications and Skills

Experience with accounting software is an asset and preferred
Experience in providing i.t. services including those listed above is required
Strong language skills, both verbal and written is required
Experience in a law office is an asset and preferred
Must have superior attention to detail, organizational skills and demonstrated track record of diarizing and meeting strict deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be friendly, and professional, able to understand and follow instructions
Must be able to maintain confidential information
Must have clear criminal record search, honesty, integrity and accountability
