LEGAL ASSISTANT POSITION

About Habing Laviolette

Habing Laviolette is a well-established Winnipeg law firm located in the peaceful suburbs of St. James. As a small office, we pride ourselves on our close-knit culture, where everyone's contribution is valued. Our office offers free parking, a lunch hour where the office closes its doors, and the opportunity to immerse yourself in a broad spectrum of legal work.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents, filings, and correspondence.
Manage client files and maintain proper organization.
Perform general administrative duties, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing emails.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and professional client service.

Qualifications:

Experience in real estate is required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
