Commercial Construction PlumberAbout the Role

Are you a Commercial Construction Plumber seeking steady work, great wages, and long‑term career security? Join our growing union team and work on high‑profile commercial and institutional construction projects located in Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We are committed to safety, craftsmanship, and providing our tradespeople with stable, rewarding careers backed by strong union support.

Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and test commercial plumbing systems on new construction and renovation projects, including water, sanitary, storm, and gas systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
Ensure all work meets local building codes, safety regulations, and union standards.
Collaborate with forepersons, project managers, inspectors, and other trades on active construction sites.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Complete work efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Journeyperson Plumber with active union membership or willingness to join.
Red Seal Plumbing certification required.
A or B Gas ticket considered strong assets
Commercial construction experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
