The Role:
This is an outstanding opportunity for an engineer or technically minded sales professional who enjoys solving complex customer challenges and building lasting relationships.

As the Technical Territory Manager, you will become the trusted advisor for customers throughout Manitoba and parts of Saskatchewan, helping industrial clients identify the right engineered solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Working closely with engineering, operations, and supplier partners, you'll manage opportunities from initial customer consultation through quotation, project execution, and ongoing aftermarket support. Every day brings new technical challenges, customer interactions, and opportunities to develop your expertise across a diverse range of industrial applications.

Key responsibilities include:

Growing and managing an established sales territory through relationship-based business development.
Consulting with customers to understand operational challenges and recommend engineered solutions.
Providing technical product selection and application support.
Managing projects from quotation through delivery while coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams.
Identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, replacement programs, and aftermarket services.
Delivering exceptional customer service by responding to technical inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Developing a strong understanding of customer operations, emerging technologies, and market trends to uncover new opportunities.

Whether your background is engineering, industrial equipment, or technical sales, you excel at building relationships and communicating complex ideas in a practical, customer-focused way.

You're organized, proactive, and motivated by the opportunity to own your territory while working alongside an experienced team of technical professionals.

A Mechanical Engineering degree, Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, or a combination of technical education and relevant industrial experience.
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical systems and industrial applications.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organization and project management abilities with attention to detail.
A customer-first mindset and a consultative approach to sales.
The ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining exceptional service.
A desire to continuously learn and develop within a highly technical environment.
