Full job description

WILMAC Construction is looking for experienced Commercial Drywallers to join our growing construction team across Prince Edward Island.

We work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, including schools, office fit-ups, renovations, multi-story developments, and agricultural buildings. We're looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in producing quality work, working safely, and being part of a professional team.

Responsibilities

Install drywall, wallboard, and gypsum panels in commercial buildings
Measure, cut, and fit drywall accurately
Install metal stud framing and backing where required
Install suspended ceilings and related components
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
Work safely while following company and site safety procedures
Keep work areas clean and organized
Work collaboratively with carpenters, foremen, and other trades

Qualifications

Experience installing drywall in commercial construction
Experience with metal stud framing considered an asset
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license considered an asset

Schedule

Full-time employment
Monday to Friday
Approximately 44 hours per week
