General Labour (Day Shift)

JGW Machine Limited is one of Ontario’s leading metal fabricators, producing a wide range of components for clients across Ontario and around the world. Our 106,000 sq. ft., clean, modern, and highly automated facility is located in Southwestern Ontario. We offer a full suite of capabilities, including engineering and design, machining, tooling, and comprehensive quality control. Our in-house process capabilities include laser welding, CNC machining, production welding, metal spinning, powder coat painting, finishing, and final assembly. We specialize in short-run, tight-tolerance metal forming and fabrication and are proud to provide high-quality products at competitive prices.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our production team. This is a hands-on role that involves assembly, paint line support, packaging, and general production duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable handling a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret paint and assembly requirements from routers and drawings
Assist with loading and unloading parts from the powder coat line
Perform visual inspections of painted parts for quality and finish
Accurately assemble products based on instructions and specifications
Package finished products for shipment according to company standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Perform general labour and support duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Follow company policies, including ethical standards and confidentiality expectations
Contribute to a positive and safe workplace environment

Skill Factors:

Good hand dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings or prints
Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Shifts:

This is a full-time day shift position. Hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Location:
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, just 25 minutes from Kitchener/Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
