Who are we looking for?

At ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steels industry. We are a world-class designer, manufacturer, and fabricator of high-quality steel tubing and tubular components/assemblies for automotive and non-automotive applications. As a Full-Time Production Operator, you'll be a part of our operations team - an integral part of our organization - and you'll be contributing to the overall function and success of our production operations.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure participation in and adherence to ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Health and Safety systems and requirements.
Follow all applicable health & safety regulations outlined by OHSA.
Operate and tend to various types of automated manufacturing equipment.
Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure a good quality product based on pre-determined standards and requirements.
Record accurate production data in computerized systems.
Conduct regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area/facility.

Position Requirements

Grade 12 or GED
Mechanical aptitude
Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing setting
Willingness to learn new skills & positive attitude
Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred
Ability to understand and follow standard operating work procedures
General mathematical skills are required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Hours of Work

A typical work week is 40 hours; overtime as required
Two-week shift rotation; days - 8:00am to 4:00pm; afternoons - 4:00pm to 12:00am; midnights - 12:00am to 8:00am
