Airfoam Industries Ltd. is a Canadian leader in designing and manufacturing sustainable, budget-friendly, and environmentally conscious EPS building materials, geofoam, and flotation solutions. With four successful plants across British Columbia and Ontario, we’re excited to announce that we have recently expanded into Woodstock Ontario - and we’re looking for some reliable and safety-minded individuals to join us on the ground floor.

Job Overview:
We're currently hiring 3 Production Laborers to support our day-to-day operations. This position will initially start working at our Paris facility, with a permanent relocation to our Woodstock facility once its operational. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in manufacturing while working in a collaborative and safety-first environment.

Location: 81 Folsetter Dr, Paris, ON N3L 0E2

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with upstream and downstream process workers on material requirements and timing for assigned station.
Coordinate product dimensions and specifications with the cutter.
Ensure products are correctly identified as per customer’s requirements.
Ensure all EPS scrap is segregated properly as per specifications.
Communicate any related products and machine issues to the Production Lead.
Assist in loading, unloading, and moving EPS blocks and finished products if necessary.
Responsible for packing finished products and labeling as per standard specifications.
Identify and ensure defective products are separated.
Ensure proper quality and quantities of packaging of products as specified.
Complete all production forms and reports.
Transport materials between raw goods and semi-finished goods to various processing centers.
Actively participate in equipment maintenance monitoring where required.
Perform operational maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation.
Operate material handling equipment safely.

What You Bring

Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Basic math skills
Understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) as it applies to the role
Forklift license considered an asset
