Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across hotel property spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and a strong work ethic, with a focus on quality service. Prior experience in hotel cleaning is a plus. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a professional cleaning team committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchenettes, and common areas according to established standards
Restock supplies such as paper products and cleaning agents as needed
Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents or damage
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Laundry machine training (washing/drying/folding etc)
Ensure all cleaning duties meet health and safety regulations

Requirements

Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hospitality settings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation to work
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and climbing stairs if required
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties promptly
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
