Service Advisor

Yellowknife Motors is looking for a customer-focused, organized, and energetic Service Advisor to join our growing Fixed Operations team. As the primary point of contact between our customers and service department, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional ownership experience while helping maintain strong customer relationships and service department performance.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally.
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests.
Schedule service appointments and manage repair orders.
Communicate vehicle repair recommendations and maintenance requirements.
Prepare accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs.
Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians.
Provide regular updates on vehicle status and repair timelines.
Review completed repairs with customers and explain invoices.
Promote maintenance programs, service specials, and additional services as appropriate.
Maintain customer records and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience that drives loyalty and retention.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role is preferred.
Automotive knowledge or experience in a dealership environment is considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Excellent organizational and computer skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience with dealership management systems is an asset.
