Full job description

As a Kids Summer Fitness Camp Coach, you will be responsible for leading structured fitness sessions, games, and activities that keep kids moving, learning, and having fun. You’ll help create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment while teaching kids the fundamentals of movement, coordination, and athletic development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise children in structured fitness activities, games, and sports.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and a love for physical activity.
Assist in camp setup, daily planning, and clean-up.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Act as a role model for campers by promoting fitness, discipline, and respect.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience working with children in a camp, sports, or coaching setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Background in fitness, sports, or recreation.
First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before the start date).
Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
