Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and self-driven Store Manager to operate our Yogen Früz location at York University.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives working autonomously, takes full ownership of operations, and enjoys building a welcoming and engaging environment for guests. This role requires a high level of accountability and commitment to ensuring consistent store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage all day-to-day store operations
Open and close the location, including cash handling, reconciliation, and bank deposits
Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive, welcoming guest experience
Maintain a high standard of guest hospitality, including proactive interaction and building strong customer relationships
Prepare and serve products according to brand standards
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering and replenishment
Maintain cleanliness and ensure health & safety compliance at all times
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Ensure the store is fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing
Collaborate with management on promotions and operational improvements

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of experience in food service, retail, or a similar environment
Previous leadership or keyholder experience required
Strong sense of accountability with the ability to work independently
High expectations for guest hospitality, with a focus on guest engagement and relationship-building
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Comfortable handling cash, reconciliation, and completing bank deposits
Strong commitment to owning the accountability of ensuring the store is open and operating Monday to Friday
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Availability to work consistent weekday shifts (Monday–Friday)
