Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with restaurant standards
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Assist in setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and closing duties as needed
Demonstrate hospitality skills by creating a welcoming environment for all guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant or food industry service roles preferred, especially serving or bartending experience
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
Good time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent communication skills and a personable demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
