Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. In this role, you will become an AI coach, crafting compelling questions on nuclear physics-related topics and assessing the writing of other contributors doing the same.

Earnings:

Hourly rate: up to $50 per hour USD, depending on your level of expertise and location

Duration: Variable depending on project length, flexible hours

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Argentina.

Responsibilities:

Train AI models by creating and answering questions related to your field
Evaluate and rank responses generated by AI
Leverage your domain expertise to assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models

Qualifications:

PhD/Masters degree or 5+ years of experience in the field
Ability to write engaging, accurate, and insightful content related to Nuclear Physics
Research and fact-checking abilities
Demonstrate exceptional writing skills, with a focus on clarity, brevity, and engagement

Nice to Have:

Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar roles
Solid subject matter knowledge in other Nuclear Physics subfields
Interest in AI and machine learning concepts

This is a freelance position that is paid on a per-hour basis. We don’t offer internships as this is a freelance role. You also must be authorized to work in your country of residence, and we will not be providing sponsorship since this is a 1099 contract opportunity.
