Full job description

FuzeHR is now hiring a Business Systems Contractor in beautiful Squamish, BC! The successful contractor will work closely with the Manager, Industrial Data & Business Systems to administer, support, and enhance existing business systems under defined scope and priorities. This role is focused on execution, stabilization, and delivery, supporting day‑to‑day operations and reducing backlog during a period of organizational transition. This is a temporary opportunity, contract expected to run for a minimum of 6 months, likely closer to 12, with high potential for extension. What are the Responsibilities

Business System Support (Dynamics 365 Business Central)
Provide day‑to‑day operational support, troubleshooting, and execution of approved system changes.
Support approval workflows, error investigation, testing, and validation of system updates to ensure data integrity.
Assist with Continia /ExFlow /AP process stabilization and incremental improvements.
Execute routine configuration changes and operational tasks under defined requirements.
Note: This role supports and executes within existing system architecture and governance.

Reporting & Data Support (Power Query / Power BI – Execution Focus)

Maintain and update existing operational and financial reports.
Support data queries used for business reporting (e.g., open orders, payment batches, accounting exceptions).
Assist with validation and troubleshooting of reporting outputs.

Business Solution Delivery (Power Platform & SharePoint)

Build and modify Power Apps and Power Automate workflows based on approved designs.
Maintain SharePoint lists, permissions, and integrations supporting intake forms, approvals, and notifications.
Support testing, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilization.
Update user documentation and basic training materials to support adoption.

Enterprise Workflow Support (Bizagi)

Implement scoped changes to existing Bizagi workflows.
Support testing, validation, and deployment activities.

Industrial Data & Integration Support (Execution Assistance)

Support configuration updates
Assist with testing and coordination activities alongside Operations and Lab teams.
Support asset hierarchy updates and documentation under defined guidance.

Documentation & Operational Resilience

Update system documentation, runbooks, and support notes.
Execute predefined cleanup, data hygiene, and standardization tasks.
Support cross‑training and knowledge transfer through documentation and shadowing.

What are the Requirements

MUST LIVE IN SQUAMISH/EASY COMMUTING DISTANCE and be willing to work on site M-F. Relocation will not be supported.
Post‑secondary education in a technology‑related field or equivalent practical experience.
Hands‑on experience supporting business systems in an operational environment.
Working knowledge of & experience using Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Experience working with Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
Exposure to workflow automation and system support in finance or operations contexts.
Strong execution and follow‑through on scoped requirements.
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Comfortable working independently within defined priorities.
Able to communicate clearly, document changes, and escalate risks early.
Reliable delivery mindset with attention to system stability and quality.
