Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Location: St. Laurent, QC/ Winnipeg, MB
Hours: 40 hours/week
Length: Direct Hire
- Maintain/modify/repair aircraft and related components in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations;
- Prepare aircraft for maintenance, repair, and modification.
- Aircraft Management includes assisting with tug and towing procedures, aircraft refuelling, and jacking up and down the aircraft.
- Carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components, including heavy maintenance;
- Co-ordinate parts and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions;
- Other duties as assigned based on role specifications.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years experience in line maintenance or heavy maintenance operations
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Aircraft Maintenance License
- Minimum of 5 years experience with FAA Training
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400
- ATR-42 or ATR-72
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Troubleshooting skills
- Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations is considered an asset
- Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and unforeseen situations.
- ICS course
- Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed
- Type Course Certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, the international language of aviation.

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
