Position Summary
Alpha College is seeking a motivated Admissions Coordinator to support student inquiries, admissions follow-ups, and enrollment-related marketing activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with prospective students, building relationships, supporting applicants through the admissions process, and contributing to marketing efforts that help improve lead quality and student enrollment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in both student admissions and marketing support, including follow-ups, content creation, outreach, and lead conversion activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to student inquiries by phone, email, and online channels in a timely and professional manner
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process and provide accurate program information
- Conduct consistent follow-ups with leads and applicants to support enrollment conversion
- Build rapport with prospective students, understand their needs, and recommend suitable programs
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and follow-up activities
- Support marketing and lead generation activities to improve lead quality and enrollment outcomes
- Assist with simple marketing content creation for social media, email, and online promotion
- Support info sessions, outreach activities, and student recruitment initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams to support student onboarding, documentation, and placement-related requirements
- Contribute to enrollment growth through effective communication, organization, and follow-up
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, education, admissions, or client support preferred
- Interest or experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, or online promotion
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with prospective students
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, or similar tools
- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, email marketing, or CRM systems is an asset
- Experience in a college, education, training, or student services environment is an asset
Compensation
- Base salary: $40,000 – $48,000 per year
- Performance-based commission based on overall performance and contribution to enrollment outcomes
