Reporting to the VP Academic & Applied Research (VPAR), the Associate Director (AD) is responsible for the integrity, sustainability, and transparency of the annual College enrolment planning process, program costing, and integrity of financial and enrolment planning and other strategic models to facilitate decision making, program sustainability, program change (program renewal/creation, accreditation). Develops evidence based budgeting and financial modeling structures that meet high documentation and compliance standards. Provides high-level, detailed analysis on programs, contracts, business cases and other special projects, including creating reports and presentations. Ensures the College’s academic planning and governance obligations are met through the effective management of staff and resources.
The AD works with the VPAR to ensure seamless coordination of services and activities related to college and school-wide initiatives, monitoring of systems for operational efficiency, and oversight of activities to support student success and academic integrity. The AD contributes to the development of school and academic plans, provides leadership in operationalizing key policies, procedures, objectives, and initiatives that promote achieving the College’s strategic goals and objectives. The AD collaborates with other members of the College’s leadership team, key institutional stakeholders, and community partners.
