Position Overview

We’re looking for STRONG Instructors who have a passion for the fitness industry, Pilates, and motivating others. You’ll be a true leader in the studio—an individual who not only leads classes but inspires and empowers others to reach their full potential.

As a STRONG Instructor, you’re more than just someone who guides a class. You are the motivator, the multitasker, and the one who commands a STRONG presence in the room. You naturally build relationships with your clients, creating an environment that’s positive, energetic, and results-driven.

Key Requirements:

As a representative of STRONG, you’ll be integral to the success of our studio. Here’s what we look for in a STRONG Instructor:

● Minimum qualifications in Pilates/Dance/Group Fitness (higher qualifications are desirable)

● Up-to-date First Aid & CPR certification

● Insurance (if working as a subcontractor)

● 6+ months of group fitness teaching experience

● A passion for fitness, Pilates, and motivating others to reach their goals

● Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable personality

What is the STRONG Academy?

The STRONG Academy is your first step toward becoming a certified STRONG Instructor. As a STRONG Academy Student, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge needed to deliver powerful, engaging classes and connect with your members. This immersive training includes:

● In-depth knowledge of the STRONG brand and class delivery methods

● Mastering STRONG’s cueing method and class structures

● Confidence in teaching all STRONG styles (Rowing, Riding, Pilates, and Strength &

Conditioning)

● Learning to use STRONG’s technology (microphones, lights, TV, clicker) to elevate your

classes

Your STRONG Academy will run over two weekends in September, with 7 engaging

workshops. Full attendance is required.

STRONG Academy - Weekend Breakdown:

Week 1:

● STRONG Brand Overview + Breakdown of Rowformer, Props, and Class Styles

● Mastering STRONG Cueing Method

● Row/Ride Workshop + Introduction to STRONG Styles

● STRONG Portal + Facebook Page Access

● Exercise Breakdown: ABS & Upper Body + Legs Repertoire (with BOSU)

● Building Client Relationships & Enhancing the Member Experience

● Strength & Conditioning Principles

● Practice Teaching Time Each Day

Week 2:

● Exercise Breakdown: Legs Repertoire (with BOSU)

● Practice Teaching Time Each Day

● Personality & Stage Presence (including Lights, Music, Mic, and TV)

● Preparing for Final Assessments: Practical & Online STRONG Exam

Important Note:

Candidates should be prepared to be available outside of the 7 days of Academy training for additional practice and community classes to further refine your teaching skills and gain hands-on experience.

Pay: $45.00-$80.00 per hour
