Heli-One Canada is looking for an Apprentice AME for Structures "S". This candidate would be hired on the bases they will become a licensed “S” ACA. The ability to travel occasionally domestically and internationally would be a great asset since we are always requiring structures people to support the embedded maintenance program with DND.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follows approved repair/modification procedures for component or aircraft, consulting internal procedures that have been TC approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) technical data, and work package instructions.

Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points Inspects completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.

Performs serviceability tests on repairs using test equipment specified in technical manuals.

Completes work package documentation by signing/stamping off after finishing all designated operations Bolts, screws, or rivets accessories to fasten, support, or hang components and subassemblies.

Cuts, trims, files parts, and verify fitting tolerances to prepare for installation.

Drills holes in structure and subassemblies, and attaches brackets, hinges, or clips to secure installation or to fasten subassemblies.

Learn to meticulously inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment, ensuring optimal fit, peak performance, and strict compliance with industry standards using advanced measuring instruments and precision test equipment.

Installs units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly, according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools and power tools.

Locates and marks reference points and holes for installation of parts and components, using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments

Salary range: $56,594 - $71,732 Based on experience
Work Schedule Choice:

8 hour days, Monday to Friday (06:00-14:15) or;

10 hour days, Monday to Thursday (06:00-16:30)
