Full job description

We are a small owner operated company looking for new team members that want longevity in the plumbing business. We want someone that's a team player and is ready to put quality before quantity. Our 16 member team has been in business for 15 years in the Edmonton region. Our focus is on service plumbing in multi-family residential buildings and commercial properties. We are known for our customer-centric company culture, the quality of our work, and our reliability. The ideal candidate is looking for a stable, challenging and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
Ensure continuous, productive communication with Team Leads
Respond to service calls in a timely and effective manner
Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls - These piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids
Size, install, test, adjust and service natural gas and propane equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers
Maintain and repair existing plumbing
Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Certificate / Red Seal Endorsed as a Plumber and a Gasfitter (B)
3 years service plumbing experience
Hydronic heating experience is essential

Technical Requirements:

Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
Valid Driver’s license required
Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
Exceptional Leadership skills
Positive attitude
Strong planning and organizational skills coupled with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to work independently (self managed) and with other technicians in a team environment
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
Displays a high level of initiative and commitment to excellence
Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
Have the physical stamina to lift heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kilograms
Ability to be on your feet for long periods and sometimes work in cramped positions

Service vehicle provided
Valid driver license
On call over time required

Sink, shower and toilet repair/replacement

Must have valid drivers license with clean record.

A criminal record check and drivers’ abstract will be required prior to start date.

Must be able to work late

Must be able to go on call for after hour emergencies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour
